The village of Fiskebäckskil, at the opposite side of Lysekil in the fjord Gullmarn, is one of the region’s most interesting. Instead of fish, the dominating industry is freight shipping. You can tell this from the buildings and the ambience; a bit bigger, a bit whealthier – still with the familiar scent of seaweed as well as the salty and wavy sea. Brygghuset is located here, the archipelago tavern for those requesting that little extra. Alongside our restaurant and Joel’s bar, we are offering lobster fishing and conferences. In May 2012 we opened up our new restaurant in Lysekil. Norra Hamnen 5 is going to be the new food mekka in Lysekil, deliviering at the highest international level. The location is unqiue with a splendid view over the ocean to the West. The food and service is the core of the restaurant – with ingredients from the sea cooked in a thorough and simple yet astonishing way. For both Brygghuset as well as Norra Hamnen 5, we are looking for chefs for the summer season between June and August. You will need at least two years for experience and preferably a vocational education as a chef. You need to be able to communicate well in English. We can provide housing with a reasonable rent.
