We are approx. 250 people in our two sites in Gothenburg being part of steering the future of the car industry. Delphi Automotive Systems Sweden AB is part of Delphi Corporation, one of the world’s largest suppliers of automotive parts and the partner of all major car manufacturers. Due to our growing business we are now looking for a Senior Product Line Purchasing Leader (PLPL) to our Head Office in Gothenburg. You will report directly to the CBU Purchasing Manager Europe. The position as PLPL is the interface between the CBU (program management, sales, engineering, PC&L) and DGSM (Delphi Global Supply Management) for all direct material related issues of the CBU. The role: The main tasks in the position as Product Line Purchasing Leader will be to; actively participate to the identification & achievement of material cost reduction and purchasing performance requested by the CBU for OI improvement, achievement of the cost model and market growth. Furthermore you will participate in Advanced Engineering activities to obtain requirements in earliest stages and provide opportunities for new products. You will also be responsible for the coordination of necessary purchasing processes according to DGSM.s rules & procedures. Who are you: We are looking for someone with a few years of experience from working in a vibrant international organization. We believe you have Engineering background and postgraduate specialization in Purchasing or equivalent. You have strong conceptual and analytical skills, you are self-motivated, structured, patient and not afraid of working in a dynamic environment. Furthermore we believe you have excellent communication & negotiation skill and strong IT competencies. Profound skills in English, both verbal and written is required for this position. We also believe that you have good technical knowledge of EEDS and of the Product Development Process.
